Here is a good secondary exercise to smash your tri's

pick a band that is fitting for your strength level (I use a green band)

hold it out and grip one side

spin the other side so there is a criscross in the middle and grab on to the other side. when holding it out in front of you the band should look like the infinity symbol:

while grasping both sides, rotate it back so the band is now stretched across your back. and your hands are out in front and at your side

get under the bar, and unrack like normal. Do a frat boy bench, only come down about half way and lock it out. sets of 5 are usually good.

This write up sucks, so as expected... here is a video

As with any band exercise... get a spotter, if something slips that shit is coming down on you hard. This is not a max effort movement, always a secondary (or third) movement and will help you out. Use a close-medium grip. Not competition

Great idea. Looks to me to be a progressive load partial bench - a modification of a number of movements that on the whole I can say I love. Good thinking, or if you didn't come up with it yourself, great way to spread the word to the masses.
