For those of you who work out at night....

    ...do you still eat after the work out?

    because of my work schedule, I usually cant get to the gym before 7:30-8 ish. I'm out by 9-10.


    at 10PM, is it too late to eat my wheat bread, scrambled egg whites, etc? I'm starving when i come out :sadwavey:


    but everything I've been told says don't eat past 8. :dunno: any advice would be much appreciated...:hs:

    I probably eat like 40% of my ~4000cals after 9pm, i'm still skinny

    i eat more than half my cals after workout..and i workout around 2am

    If you still stay under maintenence, you are fine.

    I work out about 5 days a week and I would say that 3 of those days I do not get out of the gym until AT LEAST midnight. Today, I didn't get home from the gym until 2am. When I know I am going to be at the gym late, I usually eat fewer cal's during the day so that way I can still have a late night 1am-2am dinner that is filling, but still be under maintenence.

    I worked at at 9pm tonight, ate a turkey sandwich at 10:30pm, then In & Out at midnight :drool:

    i dont know how u guys work out so late, i know jobs and school get in the way but im so sapped for energy at night

    yep, I always drink a protein shake after my workout ends at about 8:30 9pm.

    in 2 weeks, my work schedule's going to change from normal hours to 2:30pm - 11:30pm

    gym's gonna be fucking empty when i leave work :coold:

    By the time it gets there it'll be soggy and nasty. I don't even like to take my burgers to go half the time.

    I only have school twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday I have 3 classes and then 1 internet class). And I do not start until 9:30am on Tues and Thurs. Also, I only work weekends and when I do work the weekdays its usually at night like 6-10 or something. So working out at night is actually the most convenient for me.
