iSkin is about to release covers.
thanks, girlfriend is gonna need one for the touch.
can i be your girlfriend?
Invisible Shield (Best Skin) > *
I kind of lost faith in iskin. Bought one for my 5th gen video and pretty soon after the area around the lock switch ripped. Emailed them and they said that it happens.
Anyways, I have an Agent 18 case now and it does what I need it to and it's hard plastic...so no ripping.
no touch yet, but I'm sure it won't be long.
Can't imagine putting anything else on my Nano. I've used one on all 3 generations and have been very happy with the skin covers.
ive always used an agent18 case. i've had about 7 ipods, and 4 of them have had agent18 cases. my 5th gen, i bought it 2 years ago, and there's not even a finger print on it. it's mint
I've used agent 18 and iskin both, they are completely different types of cases....
Ones hard and ones gel, depends what your after
I think i am going to try one of these...
Same stuff as bestskinsever & inivisible shield...except ilounge.com says that the finish is smoother, and you get two in each package for the same price as invisibleshield.
A little higher than bestskinsever, but if the smoother finish is correct...it would be worth it.
FYI...iLounge.com rated them bodyguardz > invisibleshield > bestskinsever
I wonder how many people have jobs because of the iPod. At companies like Agent 18 and BestSkinsEver.
FYI...iLounge is fucking stupid. Invisibleshield = Best skin ever. SAME EXACT SHIT MADE BY 3M.
And just by reading the FAQ, Bodyguard looks like it is also the same shit made by 3M.
I believe i said that...
I hate my new classic. The car interface on it is significantly worse than my 5G
You said the finish is smoother? I used Invishield and Best Skin Ever and prefer the later even though it doesnt come with a fancy squirt bottle and a piece of cardboard. You make your own solution with soap and water.
Also if theres bubbles in the device it will disappear after a months use. When I put it on my ZVM and Zune, i had a lot of tiny bubbles but they went away after 2 weeks, especially if you let it sit in the sun.
I would never put a cover on my touch...way to sexeh
I actually cut out the lock switch part, as for iSkin, I've never found a better all around gel/silcone skin cover. They've covered my 3rd, Photo, 5.5 generations and will soon cover the 6th.
the new ones look so hot, I'm getting a black and white one.
My third gen has held up quite a bit. Through me using it and then passing it on to my girlfriend. The 5th gen one is just...bleh.
Can't go wrong with those. I've used them on every iPod I've owned (several) all my friends now use them too.
Then how can anyone rate one product over the other when they are the exact same thing?
Only thing I could think of is the squirt bottle and piece of rubber that comes with Invisibleshield but I can't think that justifies the cost over BSE.
Also the cut............on more times than not I have found BSE has a better fitting cut than Invisibleshield.
Its supposedly the same material...obviously they dont cut them the same.
Which brings me to a question...It looks like some of them have the front piece and the screen cover separate. bestskinsever appears to be this way (may be wrong, someone with one please correct me)...and bodyguardz looks like it may be seperate, but the screen piece may be static cling...not even the same material
Anyone know for sure? Would it matter if the screen piece was separate?
Nano the front piece comes in three pieces. One covers the screen and body. Second piece covers the click wheel. Third piece covers the center button.
I guess i should have specified i'm looking for the classic.
Dunno about the ipods, but for Besk Skin ever the Zune has a front piece, back piece that wraps around the side and edges, a center button piece, two small circular piece for back and play button. Total of 5 pieces.
For the creative zen vision M it had a back piece, front piece, and scroll bar piece.
For macbook full body it has thumb pad, wrist pad, trackpad, battery, bottom piece, front piece. I ordered that shit but completely fucked up putting the bottom piece on, and top piece so all i had was trackpad, wrist pad, and track click.
Im sure the ipod will be the same as the zune, meaning front piece, back piece that wraps around the sides and edges, circular track pad, and middle button piece totaling 4 pieces.
I just ordered one from bestskinsever...for $10 shipped you can't beat it really.
