Rosetta Stone is fucking hard to drill down to if you don't go there very often.

It will back you up until you start getting the right answers. So you will not go forward until you remember the past lessons. Where is the wrong in that?

I'm only trying to learn enough to help out on my deployment. I like being a Combat Engineer just fine.

I'm not complaining about the way Rosetta Stone works - I'm complaining that there isn't a more direct way to get into the lesson. For all the hype, they should have a direct link instead of the 20 clicks and obtuse references that you have to navigate through to get there.

I'm still not sure if I'll be able to deploy or not. My state mobility NCO says that the VA disability evaluation has nuked my deployability status. I'll know more after I meet with a medical review board.

My account is disabled on MarineNet. I almost forgot about Rosetta Stone. I want to learn Italian, lil bit of Arabic, and relearn some Japanese.

Honestly - go in to the board tell them that your status isn't adversely affected and at the worst they reclass you into a different MOS.

have you downloaded the heardstart programs from the DLI website?
it seems to give you a pretty good intro to Pashto + it focuses on military terms

That's my plan. The best I can figure, it looks like if they approve my deployment I'll have to start over with the VA when I get back. That sucks balls, but I really want to deploy, so whatever it takes is what I'll do.

WTF you, wtf? Bring it, girl. You do not want to mess with me! I will scratch your eyes out and pull your poofy hair! :greddy:

    link me! :hsd:

edit: google is my friend :bigthumb:
