I've been looking at smith & wesson so far on www.gunsamerica.com

Preferably I want it to be a stainless steel body with black grip and a red dot site and 5" barrel. Possible carry weapon though.

    Any recommendations?

I have always been a fan of .38 snub nosed revolvers, when it came to revolvers.

Either that or my grandpas 1970s colt .357 magnum :naughty:

My grandpa has a revolver that I think is fun to plink away with

    Its a ruger bearcat .22
He paid I think $32.50 for it in the 60s brand new
Pretty lightweight, even for a .22 I think it is some light alloy

    I've been thinking of a S&W 500 with a 4" barrel, for a carry weapon.. :)

My next handgun purchase will be a revolver of some sort, probably a Colt Anaconda or S&W 500.

Single action army's are one of my favorite revolvers but the ammo is expensive. Get a colt python or a taurus.
