I know, sounds wierd, I'm sorta gun'ed out. This year for my B Day, I asked for something to compliment them. Bought somethings to shoot, while I shoot or of things I shoot (oh and I guess also to photograph my daughter growing up too I guess). :naughty: ibshoudaboughta1DSmkIII

"Honey, I know you like to shoot while you shoot, so for your birthday... "

Nice gifts. I've been thinking about picking up a cheap video camera to record stages but I'd feel so odd asking a squad mate to chase me around with a camera.

You'd be surprise how many people would love to be recorded while shooting. I never have a worry of finding someone willing to run the camera if I record their run. MG has it down to a science now though and he's clutch. :x:

Do it man, you'll be surprise how much you pick up and learn from your video's.

I'll have MG run the handheld, and I'm going to record the POV, I'd love to find a way to do a Picture in Picture of the match with the POV in the upper corner of the screen.

Use caution while cleaning. Check twice to make sure the memory card is removed.

Never put your finger on the shutter release until you're ready to take a photo.

A picture in picture would be bad ass. What software do you use to edit your vids?

Don't know if your XSi has it, but I miss the Live View on my old P&S.

I don't know, I have hardly played with it I just got it last night. I don't know shit about photo cameras. Just going off what my brother told me to get. I bought it as a Kit from Costco, and really I don't know what I'm doing yet. I figure it's a good entry level SLR wannabe. lol

I just know I hate how my current P&S can't take "action pics" without the blur. Ever tried taking a picture of an active 9month old, not exactly easy.

Everything is all torn out and I have boxes, plastic and manuals laying around all over the place.

I was more concerned about getting my hat cam set up. Too many new toys, not enough time to play with them.
