Just found out about this place from a user at the VBN.
The best way for me to describe it is like a Myspace for Marines, without the drama or 'angles'.
Basically it lets you build your service profile, as in what your job was, when you were in, what awards you earned, where you served, friends, etc etc.
You can search other users' profiles to find people you worked with (I've only found 5 so far), and other neat stuff.

Way to speak for everyone else.
I'm not one to dwell on my time in, but I did meet some good people while I was in, and I enjoy the idea of keeping in (distant) touch with them.

I've stayed at the house of one of my boot camp buddies. I talk to him basically once a week.

Hung out with another friend of mine, both of us on leave in NY. Will be moving in with him when I get to California.

I keep in touch with pretty much my entire Fire Team from Iraq. One of them got me my latest Pg 11 by "telling" on me, :mamoru:

Yeah .... you might be the one that doesnt keep in touch .... :hsugh:

Oh yeah .. my brother, ex-Marine still keeps in touch with many of his co-workers from his time.

    :ugh2:
