i wasn't prepared at all for how mentally tired i'd be... climbing a hill for like 4 hours really sucks, especially when you realize that you still have like 60 miles left to ride :wtc:

I'd be like "I could just turn around, coast all the way back to my car, drive to the store, get some beer, and go home and watch a movie." about 1/2 the way up.

Once you're 1/2 way done though it gets easier though, right? ;)

I rode the bike at the gym last night on level 11 resistance for 1.5 hours :dunno: 1300 cals burned though :bigthumb:

Then I worked my legs :noes:

But wow dude that's awsome. I'm seriously planning on buying a bike to ride to and from the gym, and maybe do my short distance activities with.

 i seriously thought that! or "i could just sit here and eat some sandwiches at the rest stop and hitch a ride with the SAG wagon and be done w/ it"

but i don't think i'd be able to live w/ myself if i did that... the sense of accomplishment is really awesome and i'd feel like shit for a solid year, until i did it next year, if i pussied out
