Just thought i'd throw this out there for you guys....

    http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117193&highlight=TEA

Made 455 RWHP untuned. Looking @ upwards of 465+rwhp w/ tuning through my not-so-friendly drivetrain. This car would make 470 rwhp as it sits through a 10 bolt rear end & stock gearing...

If you're considering buying a set of cylinder heads for your car, DEFINATELY give TEA a call....

    Thanks for reading :)

Fuck i love the LS1s. Is this on a Vette or a Camaro. I want to build an LS1 and want a corvette, but looks like a Camaro is more my price range.

Wolf, yes this is a stock untouched shortblock with heads/cam and an LS6 intake.

This is a 1998 SS Camaro. Also guys keep in mind that these #'s were made through a Ford 8.8 rear end and 4:10 gears which robs power on the dyno. Through a stock rear end the car would have probably made upwards of 470 rwhp! That equates to roughly 550 HP flywheel!

    thanks for the kind words!

LOL....We don't "have to" ;) .....I chose to because the 8.8 is a lighter more efficient option over the 12 bolt or 9 inch. But yes, GM needs a good kick in the nuts for putting a POS 10 bolt in the F-body..

Great numbers, it's just too bad that everybody couldn't go buy the same package and make the same numbers. ;)

Yeah, but at least we aren't souping up classic Chevy's and dropping in Ford engines, not like the Ford guys and their Chevy smallblocks ;)

:eek3d: Would someone have to part with their firstborn to afford this? I might be interested in picking up a late model Z28 and saving my pennies up....

Correct. Futral Motorsports knows their stuff!!!!! Keep in mind those #'s were made using a solid roller setup. My setup is hydraulic roller...

I am running 93 Octane fuel, enjoying my car every single day to work...

What about smog/idle/daily driveability? How is the power band? Are these "real world" heads, or "dyno queen" heads?

What rear does the GTO have? Not a standard 10-bolt or related I hope :hs:

Just passed emissions last week and picked up my tag. Drive it every single day to work, 17 mpg average in the CITY. Car drives like stock, and I mean STOCK....No stalling, surging, etc....Crankin the AC/Heater and radio everyday while bustin 03 Cobra ass ;)

These are most certainly "real world" heads. We install TEA heads exclusively here and the average # is 435 rwhp, the higher ones being 440-445 rwhp. All of these cars are running 11's or quicker...

TEA is the real deal, they don't make dyno products. They make proven products...

:bigthumb: Never can tell when you get huge numbers like that. I was having visions of 1000hp, 12 second Supras. :o
