Ford has placed them on indefinite hold! :wtc:

[if you ordered it with the Rockford Fosgate head unit. Orders with the McIntosh HU are going right along. So change your order to include option 582 :o]

That's ok, I'll be taking delivery of my Gallardo this weekend, so I won't need the GT until the Player's Run. :codpiece:

    Myth.

With less than one car per dealer, you may have to pay more than sticker, or even be friends with the owner, but if you have the funds and the desire, you can have a car.

The last good car Ford engineers developed had a BMW roundel on it. :o

Hmmm actually the RS500 came after that, but I think you give credit to Cosworth, not necessarily the Blue Oval on that one.

This is why this thread should have ended when I posted above.

I'm assuming you aren't referring to the original GT because the BMW reference came a decade after that, and the RS500 came another decade after my BMW reference.

The new GT will impress me when it does something - like win the 24 Hours of LeMans. Until then, STFU.

You sir have named the ONLY other car I would allow in the same sentence as the BMW Powered McLaren F1.

    Congrats.

Dauer 962 is one beautiful car - with no seats, simply a trough. :o

    Damn that's one sexy car.

Although the 962 definitely has a race history, you have to love how the 95 McLaren F1 won LeMans its first year and then owned in BPR for another couple of years.

Plus I'm a big fan of Gordon Murray's train of thought.
