I would be nothing without OTAP... i came in not know jack shit; posted images, got alot of negatives, but kept trying harder and harder, learning new shit from everytime i took a photo. I suggest everyone does the same. Im no where close to being "good" but i know im working toward a direction and goal and will never stop until im there, and even when im there ill continue to perfect my craft. I  my OTAP bros

i posted 1 or 2 C&C, both times i didn't really get any advice, just "pics don't pop" or "rule of thirds"

nothing about exposure, framing, etc.. I was hoping for more.. so now I just don't post my pics anymore and i'm actually way more critical on my own pics.

    thanks OTAP :wtc:

This article is TOTALLY off. I don't see "snapshot" as a viable crit anywhere in there. :squint:

I really find this hard to believe, since your photos are amazing. I hope I tread the similar path you do in photography.

I've been super lazy with photos lately, in the coming weeks Ill have some for you guys to C&C :noes:

i get annoyed by people who say 'rule of thirds' or other such objective criticisms when they don't explain why there is such a rule. in fact, as i was taught, this is an oversimplification of a more complex understanding of the structure of the field. this is why the 'rule of thirds' doesn't always work with every image, and sometimes still doesn't make an image any better when applied.

for me, i tend to compose in geometric shapes. Trangles, circles, spirals.
