ok, because if i keep my toes pointed straight, my heels come off of the ground

i angle my feet outward too but you should probably do some stretching for hips and quads

my football coach had us jump up and grab a pullup bar and let our legs dangle freely

whatever position your feet lay in is the stance you should use

Same, outwards for me also. My knees don't feel as jacked also after doing them as to having my feet pointed straight.

    yeah, they squat improperly.

i try and put them as straight forward as possible so I can "spread" the floor but i need to do some hip flexor work

No. There's a reason weightlifting shoes have a raised heel, and it's not because every Olympic weightlifter squats improperly. Not everybody squats like a powerlifter.

i think people's toes point outward because they have weak hamstring/calf muscles.
mine used to and after a year using the ghr they point forward.

It always felt natural to me so it was never an issue. Football/Strength coach always said "Give me an 11 and 1 squatter over a 12 o'clock squatter any day of the week"

I fractured my right ankle a couple of years back and since then, it doesn't bend right so it points more outward than my left one does :hs:

While this may or may not be true for a PL squat, this is certainly not true of a high bar Olympic squat.

I keep my toes directly in line with where my thigh would point when I am at the bottom of a rep. If I am doing bodybuilder style i keep them alot straighter than if I am doing powerlifting style.

you mean you keep them lined up with the angle of your thighs outward?

it's a lot easier for me to keep my feet straight(er) if i'm only going to parallel... if i do A2G, it's pretty much impossible

Ya, if I am doing a wider stance my thighs are going to have to point further outward at full squat and so would my toes
