This was great anime. It was so experimental I think I blew a brain fuse. But I stayed up all night watching it.

It benefits from repeat viewings, too.

I thought it sucked. The plot was vague and there was no character development. The animation techniques and quality were all top notch though, and there was a lot of action. I don't really watch anime for that though... oh well.

Can you two tell me what are the redeeming qualities about this anime in terms of plot and character development? I'd love to know.

What exactly is wrong with them? I didn't see a problem.. =o

    EDIT: Noticed your other message..
Yeah, vague, but after you've seen the series a few times, it mostly makes sense..

Their was some development with the characters, at least main ones..

I downloaded the series a few days ago just to watch it again. I found this really good torrent, link, and I got it in less than a day. It's 1.35 GB, and it has English or Japanese dialogue and subtitles that you can change and it's awesome quality. :)

EDIT: Meant to say, I'm not sure if the torrent is still really active, if it's not, sorreh.

the idea that it needed a plot is ludicrous. it's stream of consciousness style is what sets it apart. as for character development one particular episode stands out as he comes to face and overcome his fear of having the baseball thrown at him.

Awesome show is awesome. It might take you 2-3 viewings of the series to make any sense of what is going on though. The show did make me a hard-core The Pillows fan, who do the soundtrack.
