More specifically, Folding peeps with quad-core rigs and also running a GPU client...

I just can't seem to get over 3000PPD, even with two SMP clients running on an AMD Phenom 9850 (OCed to 2.8ghz, split affinity between the four cores) and a GPUv2 client on my ATI 3870 (OCed to 880mhz). The GPU client gets over 2300PPD on its own; the CPU can't even seem to beat 450PPD even with two SMP clients running (I've also tried just one SMP client, the results were even worse).

I've read that the Intel quads do better at folding (and just about everything else) since they have more L2 cache...am I expecting too much out of this AMD quad?

Yeah nevermind, I switched to BOINC, which actually uses 100% of all four cores simultaneously. Much better looking/running client overall, too...should have been running it all along.
