    So how are they?

I don't know much about them but can get a killer price on them. I want a OWB holster to be used in IDPA/USPSA or maaaaaybe a concealed OWB holster.

    Any recommendations?

How much can you get them for? Have you looked at the Uncle Mike kydex holsters or Blade-Techs?

If I wanted to use it for competition, would it be ok?

Blade Tech seems to be popular with the IDPA/USPSA crowd

BladeTech or Uncle Mikes is what I use for IDPA and USPSA. I wouldn't use a Fobus if it was given to me. I bought one, used one for 2 matches and it's been sitting in my box of gun stuff ever since.

Uncle Mikes is the best cheap holster around.

I ordered a Fobus Roto Paddle holster, a roto paddle double mag carrier, and a roto belt double mag carrier. All at %50 off. Oddly the company that makes them has them out of stock. I ordered off of their website, but the paddle stuff was backordered.

I'm going to be using them strictly for USPSA and other shooting competitions. I carry IWB sometimes, but my primary CCW is a kel-tec P3AT, so I couldn't compete with it anyway.

If you're on facebook just become a member of Students for Concealed Carry on Campus, and sign up for thier protest. wait a week or so, and then send an e-mail to them for the discount code.

According to the website, the Uncle Mikes kydex paddle holster is adjustable for tension, height, and cant...is that right? The Fobus has none of that does it?

Could the Uncle Mikes possible be used as a conceal holster, or would it be mainly for an open carry situation (range, etc)?

yes, that is correct, it's fully adjustable and very secure. I've worn my rig concealed carry with a lose Hawaiian shirt with dual mag pouches to a BBQ or two.

But it does rattle a little bit in the holster. or it could just be mine, cause it's worn down. :mamoru:

    Followup...

I went yesterday and bought an Uncle Mikes kydex paddle holster for my G19, then went and directly compared it to a Fobus that my brother in law had. BIG difference. The U.M. is more comfortable, and the adjustability of it is nice. The Fobus has the red pad on the back of it for comfort, but then there is a little metal clip along the top edge that digs into your side.

Uncle Mike's for me...and btw at Gander, they were the same price. So i probably over payed, but i wanted it asap.
