    If it's a real one that's low.

If it's a Century, then yes. Some of them do have Imbel receivers which is a plus, but most I have spotted are in pretty bad shape overall. With the current market, good deals on FALs are few.

Short of finding a real gem, which is rare these days, I would keep saving and look into one of the DSA rifles. Their STG-58 is fairly reasonable given it is built on a new barrel and receiver by folks that actually seem to care.

I have one. I was more a fan of it before I bought it. It was my dads service rifle but honestly it does nothing for me. Its expensive to shoot and the AR dominates it hands down

I'd like to have one just for the sake of having one. It's one of those guns that makes liberals cry at night.

I dealt with them many times without any problems. That's been a few years back, though.

Well, these days they refuse to work on rifles and will brush you off with lies if you talk to them in person. I originally wanted a DSA rifle, but after dealing with them, no more.
