:dunno: I'm going to be a lodo faggot for halloween and yell "SPORTS" all night.

  9. Yea there are a few flash tutorials out there but they're all the same basic stupid motion tween Flash 101 bullshit. Seriously if you want to learn flash I know it sounds painful but get a book. I would like to say I've mastered flash but that would be a flat out lie, I think it's impossible to master flash. I have 2 huuge flash books that I've read through front to cover and I've learned a lot! I can recommend them to you if you're interested?

I have Flash 5.0; the tutorials that came with it are pretty descent, and IIRC www.flash.com or something has some pretty good ones also. They're not *all* motion-tweening tutorials. Or at least they weren't before. :dunno:

I made my website frontpage in Flash. I had always intended for it to keep loading in the background and morph into something super futuristic when it finished loading the whole thing, but I never got around to that. :o

  11. I hate flash 5, flash 8 professional for the win! :coold:

Yah, a bunch of cool features came out with Flash 6, but honestly now that my menu thing is done, I've very little motivation to do any re-vamping.
"Done in 2003, should last years" is my theory. :mamoru:

  13. are you making a loader first or you are just starting off right into the scene?

I have a loader for the 198k menu. My original intent was to have the super-cool futuristic menu keep loading in the background. But once I had the basic menu functional I became lazy and stopped working on it. :o

  16. you must be lazy, making menu's are my favorite part of site design using flash.

IBboobies calls bullshit and wants to see proofs of my work. :ugh: Oh and I'm definately not showing any of my work on OT anymore :hsugh:

I think I may have a solution to the program we all WANT to learn but is so damn hard we might as well just /ourselves

The solution I see is called "Xtivity"
    www.tivity.com
Its basically what its slogan says "All of the Cool, none of the Code"
Check out the site and be sure to look around to see all of its features!
The only downside is that the program is a little bit buggy and the developers have yet to release an update

Anyway here are some sites I collected from the forums (which are now gone):

    http://www.henrymccoy.com/
    http://www.photojoe.com/
    http://www.brianbacin.com/engagement/
    http://www.randslavenham.com/flash.htm

Its also really good for making flash adverts!

When you go to the site, youll also see "Pixtivity" which some might be more interested in others
I havent used it, but it is basically a template for your pictures to be presented
Also, Visio Photography supports it, as many of the example pictures throughout the site are from Visio

If anyone has questions, id be more than happy to answer :hs:

i also use Sothink SWF Decompiler to "borrow" code and images from other swf files. it's about 90% effective to decompile from swf to fla.

This brings up a good point...you should encrypt all your swf's so LowLikeWhoaF150 can't steal them.....:hs:
