Is there a particular diffuser to stay away from, or one that sets itself beyond the others?

I've had a Sto-Fen in the past that worked fine, but now that im looking to buy a new one, I wanted to make sure I didn't kick myself down the road.

    On a related note..
 wtf is up with Cameta throwing in a crapload of stuff with their diffuser?

I just thought that was funny.

    Anyway, thoughts?

What's wrong with getting another Sto-fen? It's cheap, simple to use, works pretty well, and doesn't look like a fucking satellite dish strapped to the top of your flash like some of the other diffusers I've seen on the market.

Nothing wrong with getting another one at all.
I just wanted to make sure that since I was buying a new diffuser, I went the right way.

Might be a good way to go to get/make one of those little softbox style ones and also get a bounce diffuser. They will both work and it will depend oh how soft you want the light and more tools in the bag is always a good thing.

Cameta always throws worthless crap with their bids...and then raise the price. The only time they beat BH was for my D700+grip, and that had me like :eek4:
