    Cliff notes:

    Wheres GM?

  2. Who cares?

If they think the dodge charger is the BEST family sedan and they think that the tundra is the BEST pickup (why is it again that toyota is deeply discounting them to meet sales goals?) and they think that the audi A4 cabrio is a "sports car," then I really don't think they know what they are talking about.

NY Daily News is certainly NOT an automotive authority.

Car and Driver 10 Best Cars/5 Best Trucks, Motor Trend COTY and TOTY > that shit.

I have a hard time agreeing with that, but I haven't driven an Alpha yet.

Available V8, low gearing (4.10:1), superior crawl ratio (50:1), rear locker, exterior mounted spare, ample ground clearance, a very flexy suspension, monotube shocks, real recovery shackles, plenty of underbody protection, a rigid rattle-free structure, non-vanilla styling, perfectly sized, it's comfortable enough to drive everyday, and would get s/o approval.

    Yeah me too. :coolugh:

Comfort is one of the areas where I feel the H3 is lacking, the seats are too low, I couldn't find a decent position for my legs front or rear, and I'm only 5'9", windows are too small, shit rearward visibility. I-5 is anemic as fuck. I'm sure the V8 is much better.

Would I drive one on the trail? Perhaps in 10 years when they're selling for 5k. Would I drive one every day? No, its not what I look for in a commuter vehicle.

I had an 08 dealer loaner for like a week. I had some major complaints, but overall I liked it. I wouldn't want one though.

the only Jap Fanboy in this thread is you. I'm assuming you mean Jeep fanboy and are trying to insult me.

I like the FJ cruiser, hell if I were in the market for a new SUV I might buy one. But I don't trust a fucking newspaper to rate 4x4's. I also know you only posted this to start another flame war with potroast.

That would be like 4WOR rating hair care products.

Maybe you should try some decaf. This is only the internet, no reason to try to piss anyone off. I actually posted this to try to see if my buddy Potroast would come out of the peanut gallery, as he does when ever anything FJ is posted.

I couldn't care less what you drive. And if you think I confused "Jap" with "Jeep" well, maybe you need some new glasses?

Yep, 4.0. Fuel isn't bad (better than the H3 I'm sure) with 31's, 4.10's and a heavy foot I get 15-18mpg out of it. I could pull over 20mpg before the tire and gear swap.
