    SO I have a mac bookpro
    recently my delete key space bar and left and down arrows down work

    im using control v to place spaces in and it sucks
    what do i do to fix this

    if you plug in an external keyboard, do the delete, space bar, left, and right arrow keys also not work?

    wait so i have a laptop are you saying i should try to plug in another computer? also at one time none of the keys worked but i restarted the computer and it went back to everything cept spacebar, deleted and half the arrows

    He's saying, GO GET ANOTHER KEYBOARD AND MOUSE AND PLUG IT IN VIA USB PORT TO YOUR MACBOOK PRO AND SEE IF YOU STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS.

    i meant to say keyboard instead of computer but i was in emotional distress cause my computer wasn't working

    so i plugged in an extra keyboard and it still did not work? any ideas what is wrong?

    Sounds like your keyboard got remapped. I'd probably try searching for a utility to fix it myself ( http://doublecommand.sourceforge.net/ looks promising ) but since you are under applecare, minus well take it in to the genius bar if you live near an apple store. Or call the phone support line.
