i updated my grub in ubuntu and lost its settings, is there a quick fix to boot into my install, or do i need to use the live cd i am downloading...

just thought i'd ask, i know how to fix it via the live cd, just dont want to have to wait to download it.

If you're on the Ubuntu system you should be able to do grub-install (hd0) :dunno:
