Not sure on the no-heat liquid stuff... I have always used the Permatex kit that you have to heat the repair with and had fairly decent success with it.

I used to fix leather as in Sofa's, love seats etc for pretty big retailers while i ran my business part time. Leather seating is pretty hard to fix in general. I would suggest searching for MOHAWK furniture products since they are professinal and most likely the best in the business as far as i am concerned. MY leather kit was a little over 5000 dollars, but you can most likley get a few peices you need for under 100 dollars. Any pictures or more details and i can suggest the best method for fixing the area.

The tear is actually on my couch. I Just thought I would get a better response in this forum.

But the couch was free, so I'm really not looking to spend much on it at all. I don't have my camera on me, but it's a simple straight tear. About 2.5 inches long on a flat surface.

Call a car dealership and tell them you have a tear, and ask who they use to repair torn leather. They'll give you a name...call and set up having him fix it. He'll probably charge $50 if you can bring the cushion to him.
