    I need to place text alongside the picture image, and everything I've tried has not worked to my liking. The code looks fine, but when I place the <td> tags around the text, it doesn't stay in the same table as where the image is. Could someone help me with this please.

    Code:
    <tr>
    <td class="formsubtitle" colspan="2">Signature of the Week</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td class="row1" width="1%"><{F_STATS}></td>
    <td class="row1"><div align="left">
    <a href="<A href="http://209.85.48.9/912/131/upload/p2632987.png"><img">http://209.85.48.9/912/131/upload/p2632987.png"><img src="[URL]http://209.85.48.9/912/131/upload/p2632987.png[/URL]" WIDTH="165" HEIGHT="50" ALT="Testing"></A></div></td>
    <td class="row1"><b>Past:</b><br />SOTW: #<br />Winner: Blank<br />Theme: None<br /></td>
    </tr>

    The other cells need to span over one more cell.

    Make a table inside a table, and put the image and text into separate cells in the inside table.

    Well, nothing is working. Even when I add a table to the html code.

    Here's where I'm at now....

    [IMG]

    Here's the code...

    Code:
    <tr>
    <td class="formsubtitle" colspan="2">Signature of the Week</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td class="row1" width="1%"><{F_STATS}></td>
    <td class="row1"><div align="left"><a href="http://209.85.48.9/912/131/upload/p2632987.png"><img src="http://209.85.48.9/912/131/upload/p2632987.png" WIDTH="165" HEIGHT="50" ALT="Testing"></a>
    <b>Past:</b><br />SOTW: #<br />Winner: Blank<br />Theme: None<br /></div></td>
    </tr>

    I need the table to look like this...

    WHY are you using tables? Bad mojo.

    You could just nest another little table inside that <td> that's giving you probs.

    As was said earlier, your colspan is wrong. Your header row says it covers two columns but in the next row you clearly have three columns.

    The colspan="2" was only associated with the beginning part of the html code which had the text "Signature of the week...
    Even when I change that "2" to a "3", the whole table looks like this now... [IMG]

    PS: I'm using tables because this is all on my IPB board. I'm editing sections of it through the HTML part, so it has to be in html, unless anyone knows any other way.

    Anyways, I need to get the next (which is below the sig.) and I need to get that text to the right of it still. When I use the <br /> tags to go to a new line, the text goes below the signature.

    right like I suggested...you can simply nest another table in the cell to the right of the picture. Then you can skip the <br> and just use <tr><td> for the rows.

    Can you update the html to show me what you mean?

    because whenever I add
    anywhere in the html, it seems to mess up my IPB board at the bottom. I'm not sure why though.

    Is this how you were saying to change the code to?? (CODE BELOW)

    Code:
     <tr>
    <td class="formsubtitle" colspan="3">Signature of the Week</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td class="row1" width="1%"><{F_STATS}></td>
    <td class="row1" width="100%" border="1"><div align="left"><a href="http://209.85.48.9/912/131/upload/p2632987.png"><img src="http://209.85.48.9/912/131/upload/p2632987.png" WIDTH="165" HEIGHT="50" ALT="Testing"></a>
    <b>Past:</b><br />SOTW: #<br />Winner: Blank<br />Theme: None<br /></div></td>
    That's exactly how I edited it just now as you said, and nothing changed. For some reason, I don't even see border lines even though I set border="1" ...

    The above code still causes the table to look like this....

    If you don't believe me, I can even link you to the site and you can look at the source, but that still hasn't changed.

    Amazing. Tyvm, I appreciate the help; works perfect now. All you did was add a table?
