    Someone fix this HTML and I'll give you $25, by corporate check, mailed today. Post results here so I get banned for bad fellowship if I don't pay you. Make the form layout look... like its not thrown together. I want it to look even, like a regular windows application. I hate tweaking HTML, it makes me want to eat babies. Make it even and pretty.

    from what I remember you can't set the width on individual select boxes (that would make it look cleaner) so I'd put a dummy first option and set it to only show 1 value until you click the arrow.

    this just tweaks what you already had.

    I want them open so you can see all the options at once. If you can get the font to be sans-serif, I'll cut your check.

    make your image src's absolute so I can see what I'm doing while I edit it. If I actually get back around to checking this forum again.

    do you want a specific font? as I'm looking at the sample it's showing courier but I don't have netscape, just firefox and IE.

    Code:

    I like the label external to the selection part, as I have it.

    I didn't see where you had any label... I moved it outside but now the select boxes are narrowed. There's no way (that I know of) to make them so they're all the same width...that's why I put them inside, so they'd make all the select boxes the same width.

    Your best bet is to use CSS to fix the width of each SELECT element -- like above. Firefox and IE won't show SELECTs the same way (firefox forces scrollbars and there's no way to remove them).

    I was going to tell you buy someone a sub with it (and yes, the text was too small).

    Can you good people CSSize this HTML? I need it to be like the text in the table above.

    PHP:
                <table width="100%" height="60" border="0" align="left" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2">
                    <
    tr>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">Total Slots</td>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">[% slots %]</td>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">Total Jackpots</td>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">$[% jackpots %]</td>
                    </
    tr>
                    <
    tr>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">Total Gross Sales</td>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">$[% gross_sales %]</td>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">Average Sales/Machine</td>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">$[% avg_sales_per_machine %]</td>
                    </
    tr>
                    <
    tr>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">Total Net Win</td>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">$[% net_win %]</td>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">Average Net Win/Machine</td>
                        <
    td width="25%" height="20">$[% avg_net_win %]</td>
                    </
    tr>
                </
    table>

    All you need are the STYLE statements:

    Code:
    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    .chart_css {
        background-color: #ACB5CD;
    }
    td {font-family:Verdana, Arial; color: #000000; font-weight: Normal; font-size: 12pt;}
    input {border: solid 1px; font-family:Verdana, Arial; background: #F7F7F7; color: #000000; font-weight: Normal; font-size: 12pt;}
    select {width:150px; border: solid 1px; overflow:scroll; font-family:Verdana, Arial; background: #F7F7F7; color: #000000; font-weight: Normal; font-size: 12pt;}
    -->
    </style>

    td {font-family:Verdana, Arial; color: #000000; font-weight: Normal; font-size: 12pt;}

    Means that any TD element will use this particular CSS setup.

    Thanks. And how do I change it so I can apply this style to certain TDs and not all of them?

    Code:
    <html>
    <style>
    .td1 {color: 0298fe;}
    .td2 {color: 289300;}
    .any_name {color: 000000; font-weight:bold;}
    </style>
    <body>

    	<table>
    	<tr>
    	<td class="td1">

    	text

    	</td>
    	<td class="td2">

    	text2

    	</td>
    	<td class="any_name">

    	text3

    	</td>
    	</tr>
    	</table>

    </body>
    </html>

    When you define a style as td or input that applies globally to all of those HTML element/tags. If you put a period . first it defines a class-name which can really be named anything you want. I'd normally name these things like .blueText, .mainContent, .navigation, etc. You call the classes by creating a class property in the HTML tag.

    You'll see all this in the code above.
