ok heres the deal it I made a new account yesterday and added the food and activity... it showed up for today instead of yesterday, I copied everything from todays date to yesterdays date and its showing different cals burned. I had to put 2 hours on the treadmill to get the correct cals on it

I dunno... I wouldn't really rely on fitday's cals burned shit, everyone is going to be different. 30min on the treadmill is going to be different for you than it is for me.

Just use it for a reliable way to track your cal intake. Let the mirror and scale do the rest.

dont mean to sound stupid but what are macros?

as for the cals do you enter everything in yourself or do you trust what it gives you say for tuna or chicken?

Macros being the protein, fat and carb content.

I'm anal enough that I actually check it against one another. Sometimes it is off by abit...alot of times very close in which case I'll go with it.

When you're doing cardio... I don't trust most cardio machines either....so I usually punch in 150lbs so it at least gives you a margin of error when it calculates calories burned.

:werd: if its something like a piece of chicken, steak, fish, etc I'll just go with whatever FitDay has. I've entered pretty much everything else I eat. my egg whites, any breads/oats/wraps, protein supplements, turkey bacon/sausage, etc. If you are on a consistent diet, FitDay is a breeze after the first week... everything is just in the drop down menu. I rarely have to search for food any more.

Don't use the cal burn feature. It's pretty inaccurate.

dont think so... but it shouldnt be different when you add 30 min on the treadmill but you have to add 1:20 to equal out what you have put the day before though

If you have weekdays set to seated work and weekends to standing lifestyle, it will make a difference...

How important is it to keep macros in a set % ratio? And what ratio do you prefer?
