Fitday crew... How much detail do you go into with your fitday? Do you make up custom things for your protein shakes?

What about vitamins? It's telling me i'm missing some vitamins, but I take a multi every day... How do I include this?

So far, with all of the food I can think of, plus my protein shake, here's my stats...

    1871 calories
    73 fat
    120 carbs
    182 protein

    Thoughts?

    ok... more questions..

let's say I eat 90% of the same stuff every day. Is there a way to have the program replicate the days. or do I have to go through the whole process every day?

Also, is there a way to see if you're in a calorie deficit/surplus? I know they calculate your calories used in your activities, but do they use it for any conversions?

As with most things, you get out of it what you put in. If you want detailed results, submit detailed data.

Get the sugar-free stuff :dunno: Or go with cottage cheese...more protein, fewer carbs.

I don't really track anything but protein, carbs and fat in FitDay.

Speaking of fitday, not too many people add sleep to their activities. It lowers the BMR

ok... I actually threw out the yogurt.

I need to find something else to add with lunch.

Any suggestions on what to pair with a tuna salad on wheat sandwich?

Natural peanut butter? Handful of peanuts? piece of fruit? MRP?

How much do you weigh and what are your goals?

You're worried about yogurt, but you want to add a piece of fruit? :dunno:

Oh ok. Yeah, throw in some more protein. Fat-free or 1% cottage cheese, light string cheese..nuts are too easy to overdose on imo if you're watching your calories.

If it doesn't do something you'd like it to do, make a suggestion and you might see it.

Cool. I signed up tonight. I'll start entering things tomorrow. Although the reply email comes back with the name of 'me'... You should prolly fix that...

Final count for today: 2093 calories 91 fat, 125 carbs, 193 protein.

That's nowhere near ideal, is it?

Weigh in, track during a week, weigh yourself again then reassess your food intake so that it fits your goals.

I always enter custom foods and get an exact count. And I too have the same food almost every day but FitDay has the "most recent foods" list that makes it easy to add the same shit each day.
