Down from 293 to 265 ish. I believe I am also seeing muscle gains due to increased strength gains in gym. There is a noticeable change in my appearance.

If you go from 400 carbs down to 200 you should see a drop in weight.

I used hardboiled eggs. Not sure if its good or not since my fat intake per day is generally around 50-75g of fat.
Other sources are flaxseed and almonds etc.

I'm sick of dieting. It NEVER works for me. No matter how clean I eat I never lose any weight. I've been doing cardio for 30-60 min a day in addition to lifting. Usually I'm closer to 2000 calories a day (just another couple protein shakes).

Everyone can lose weight and everyone can gain weight.
In its simplest form, just need to manage calories in against calories spent.
Some lose weight "faster" than others, but, eventually it will come off.

There are obese people that would gain weight on 2000 calories a day. Its a matter of continuing to press on and managing your meals.

There are cases where obese people have slowed their metabolism down so far from sitting on their asses that 2000 calories (eaten in one meal) and they cant lose weight.
I know its not how you do it. But, it happens.

Their problem is not their metabolism 90% of the time. It's 1) they can't estimate for shit what/how much they eat, 2) they don't move at all.
There was a weight gain study where people were fed 1000 cals over their maintenance and some gained lover 10 lbs in a months, others only gained 1-2 lbs. The difference wasn't their metabolism, it was the fact that they stood up more, walked more and so on (exercise wasn't permitted during the study).

So basically, their problem isn't their metabolism (ie : the resting energy expenditure) it was their (non-exercise) physical activity, or lack of it.
