I don't understand how you keep track of some of your meals. For example, last night my girlfriend made enchilada's with ground turkey tons of different ingredients, i scooped out a bunch on my plate and ate it. Now how the heck do you enter something like that? Most of the stuff i eat is home made and has various amounts of a bunch of stuff, and my portions are just dished out.

Also does the free version have everything you need, or is it worth it to purchase the program?

I always just guess on amounts. Or try to find the food on their database. Just realize its not all that accurate to begin with.

Only way you'll know is by estimating how much stuff she put in the beginning and making your own custom meal out of it in FitDay.

i don't even bother if i have something like that. I'll just make a general estimation and keep it in mind for the rest of the days calories. If i'm counting cals, 95% of my meals are extremely simple for this purpose.

i get on little kicks where i'll have the same thing every day for a week too, right now it's 2/3lb sliced buffalo chicken breast on an 80cal light roll toasted, doused with extra buffalo sauce, and a big serving of brocolli. :yum:

its best to use the ingredients, add those in, and estimate how much of what you ate, for instance lets say you had 3 enchiladas.

4.5 oz turkey breast (1.5 oz meat in each)
    3 corn tortillas
1/3 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

    etc....

you go to the supermarket or deli, and you say "give me x lbs of boars head buffalo chicken breast" and then the guy behind the counter goes and gets it and gives it to you :eek3:
