fish oil

    I went to get some
    they had several kinds b ut it was a toss between omega 3 only and omega 3-6-9

    I got the 3-6-9, but I havent opened it yet

    should I return it and get the 3 only?
    this is for lowering my cholesterol

    that is the stuff I have, I know I could of saved money online, but I didn't wnat to wait, and I like supporting local vendors

    also how much of it should I be taking?

    says each softgel cap contains 400mg of fish oil, flax seed oil, and borage oil

    I also got flaxseed oil, 1000mg, how muhc of that should I be taking?

    i put about 1-2 tbsp of flaxseed oil in my shake in the mornings, dunno how many mg's that is. I just buy it in a jar.

    Everyone seems to just get the fish oil, not the 3-6-9. I've always used the plain fish oil anyway. From what i've read, it seems that its the ratio of 3:6 that is most important. In east asian countries, the ratio is close to 1:1, whereas in the US its more like 1:10.

    So, i'd probably ditch the 369 stuff and get just plain 3. they also have the more concentrated fish oils, but i've compared, and mg for mg its just cheaper to take more of the less concentrated ones.

    the flaxseed I bought is in pill form

    1000mg per pill

    what kind of flaxseed do you take? I can lookup how many mg per tb spoon
