Which do you guys prefer? Or can you do both?
You can do both. But fishoil is definitely better.
When I was into low carb diets the only way I could keep my calories high enough was by consuming 6-9 tbspn of flax seed oil per day. but it would have been good if I was taking fishoil nonetheless.
Now I'm just taking fishoil.
I would get between 3-4 grams of EPA/DHA from fish oil. If you want any more omega 3's in your diet you can use flax oil for the rest.
Cool thanks guys
I just read the fish oil bottle I have, got it from costco, its suggested use is to take 1 gel cap with each meal, which for 3 meals would come out to about 540 miligrams of EPA and 360 miligrams of DHA. Do my fish pills just suck ass or am I really meant to be taking like 7 each meal?
udo's choice is good but expensive
Udo's choice is a shitty source of Omega 3's. It is only good IMHO if it is one of the only sources of fat in your diet. Who gives a shit if the fats in it are in some perfect ratio if they arent that way in the rest of your diet?
Most peoples diets are very high in omega 6's with a good chunk of omega 9's but almost no Omega 3's. Therefore if you want to SUPPLEMENT with something you supplement with what is lacking(aka fish oil and some flax) not more omega 6's and 9's for more money.
i dont know how you came to 7 per meal, but thatd be over 6 grams, just go with 3 or 4 per meal
IceGod, you may have a weak brand. You can get ones that have 600 mgs' of DHA/EPA per capsule dirt cheap now adays.
Remeber you are taking fish oil for EPA/DHA. If it didnt have any DHA/EPA their would be no point.
Dumb ass question coming ... what does fish oil/flaxseed oil do for you?
i too would like to know this
so i assume it doesn't matter when a person takes them...? during bulking or cutting.
