i have zero pp experience or knowledge, so these shots are as is...
my first time posting in this section of OT, and I'm looking for some advice from you regulars :x:

the first 4 are with my gf's xti with the kit lens and the last one is with my p&s caplio r7

i tried playing with the settings and i have a sense what the settings do, but I am still green as can be...

i know they're boring and plenty wrong, but go easy on me please :)

I don't like the one with the bird. Its just a shot of a bird on a boardwalk and the city skyline would be cool, but the parking garage kills it.

The others are kinda neat and might have potential if someone got creative with either composition or post processing.

I know you have no control over the garage, but the same pic with the garaged dim or blacked out with a BMW's angel eyes or something of the like glowing in wait would have been cool
