And its hell. Torrents are slow as hell. Firefox is slow as hell.

The firewall is disabled, all other protocols besides TCP/IP are uninstalled and this thing is still barely making 10k on a supposed 1mbit line. Either its XP or my ISP, but I am about to fucking scream. Read over tweak guides and nothing worked. Anyone with any suggestions?

No the torrents have loads of seeders. I know how to use a torrent and these ones should be getting much higher speeds. I think one peaked at 29k/sec. Thats it. I am going nuts here. Complex webpages take about 30 seconds to download.

Are you behind a NAT firewall? Set up port forwarding to whatever port your BT client requests.

Turn your firewall back on, doofus. Every asshole and their brother is routing their foreign smuggled jailbait porn through your network connection right now. Get some auto-protecting antivirus software too.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: to a computer, connecting to the internet is like having sex with everybody in the world all at once. Would you do it without protection?

No, I like to only sleep with a few partners unprotected. The partners that I have come to know and trust over the years. That way when I do want to "sleep with them", its not sluggish slow bloated and unsensitive.
