I decided to go with it over the EF-S 10-22 because it's about $300 cheaper and it's been getting great reviews. I can also use it on my film body (sort of :o, it looks usable from about the 17-24 range, wider than that it has a black border due to the smaller sensor size of APS-C cameras)

I waited around for it to come all day and when it finally got here it started to get really overcast outside, it's supposed to rain soon I think. I made minor curves adjustments to try and compensate :hsd:

It's solid, and it even comes with a lens hood ( I don't think the 10-22 does :hsugh: ). The clutch mechanism to get from AF to MF is different, but I think I'm going to end up liking it just as much or more than the swith system.

Thanks, it's just in some alley, I didn't think I'd have enough light to shoot it without a tripod but it worked out okay. Here's a different shot of it

The pictures don't even show how wide of a lens it is. I could tell you that they were all taken with a 20mm and you wouldn't have a second though about it.

I meant I could frame those shots with my 20mm on a 1.6 crop camera and you probably couldn't tell the difference. :o

I've never owned one before and I haven't used it much yet, so I figured reading that wouldn't hurt. :hsugh:

Maybe that's what he meant. :hs: I want a Sigma SD10, but only after the SD11 comes out. It's still so expensive. :hs:
