The first project im gonna start before i fully plan out my camaro project is gonna be a dsm. Not sure if its gonna be a 1g eclpise/talon or 2g but it wouldent really matter to me.

Here are my plans for the car (btw it would be a tsi/gsx)

First i would replace the boost guage with a more accurate one
A dejon intake pipe + new apex'i power intake filter
I would also put a manual boost controller in (nots ure what type)
    and possibly a bigger exhaust.
A new hahn extreme racing downpipe is also required with new O2 housing.
As far as fuel pump goes im not sure, this i will need help on. I plan on putting a 16g turbo or possibly even higher so i iwll need a big fuel pump for this.
A racing clutch of ACT 2600 is also a plus.

Sorry for the way i typed this im really highright now (lol)

What do u guys think so far? i have around 18k saved up for this project.

How fast do you want to go? You might be able to get Nimbles car for $18k. He has a 98 or 99 running deep in the 11s. If you built a first gen, you could get there for a good bit cheaper, between 5 and 10k depending on what you spent on the car, how good of a driver you are, and what route you took to get there. Are you going to drag race the car, or auto-x, or a daily driver?

invest in a datalogger.....better yet..if you have 18k saved up i would invest in some form of stand alone like aem ems, or dsmlink(2g). And to be honest, if i where you i would build a 1g with a 6bolt/4bolt combo

you have alot of research to do.

    any more questions?

Buy my 1G. For 18K you could run 10's.

Fuck all that, Buy a 1g AWD ($500-$2000), Drop the d-pipe, get a 3" d-pipe and e-cutout ($450-500), Garrett t-66 Setup ($1600), magnus SMIM ($550), 2.4 hyundai G4CS Stroker BUILT ($2000), Magnus Dogbox ($4500), Fully ported Race head ($1500), HKS 272/272 Cams ($590), 760cc Injectors ($350), Stand Alone FMS ($1200), Fuel cell ($500?), Large external pump ($150), inline fuel filter ($100), Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator ($150), LARGE FMIC ($900), Tial BOV ($200), and can't forget the roll cage ($500)

There ya go, and that's only $17,240. Hope you can build the car yourself, cuz that's gonna be a lot of labor

Oh, that setup will drop you DEEP into the 10s

Not true though, 1g's are a bit lighter then that, especially 90's, which have significantly lighter doors then any other years. Mine weigh 2960 with no a/c or rear interior and a some other minor things, I would put it at 3040 or 3060, tops, dry. Mine is a 90.

I don't think a greddy fmic will be suffice for that turbo.

The AGP fmic's are pretty damn nice.

BTW: what RPM for full boost?
