makes me wonder why the aftermarket doesn't have anything like this yet......maybe no one wants it?

thats awesome.... the cluster looks just like the ones out of old 60s 'stangs, especially when lit up in green (weren't the originals in green?)

The originals are black with white lettering naturally. Most cars of the era had instrument panels lit by a green light though, the guages in my 65 are that way, has the creepy green glow (Christine anyone?).

Wow, those are some really nice gauges. Great lighting concept as well. Looks like Ford's gonna slap GM around again with this Mustang. Maybe someday GM will build somthing to actually compete with the Mustang. The new GTO is a step in the right direction, now let's wait and see if they follow-through.

Damn. My hawk should be paid off by the time the Cobra rolls out ('06 I think)... Might have to look into that :)

    6000 redline...thats bad news.

if they kepy the 03 cobra motor for the gt as we thought it would have a 6500 redline, looks like we might be stuck with that POS sohc 4.6 again

I've never heard that the GT was getting the iron blocked engine from the Cobra... Unless it was supercharged (like the cobra) it would be silly to replace the lighter aluminum block with a heavier N/A iron one.

The new Cobra comes out in 2006, maybe that's what your thinking of?

There has been talk of the GTs staying SOHC, but upgrading to 3V...Guess we'll have to wait and see.

sexy, I really like it. Although I must say teh resolution on the gauges is way too low. It would take some getting used to to know what speed you are going without studying the gauge for like 10 seconds.

I've heard so many rumors about the 05, it's hard to know who is full of it and who's not, but suffice it to say it'll have 300 bhp whether it actually says 300 or if it says 260 *wink*wink*
