That place is heaven. If you get the chance go through Jerome, Payson and Pine. Payson and Pine are an easy drive to the southeast of Sedona and Jerome is closer to the southwest. Jerome was a mining town at the turn of the 20th century and there's a ton of old ghost buildings from the period scattered around. Great for photography.

Pine is basically right at the foot of the Mogollon Rim, you can scale the rim and get some utterly unbelievable sunset shots looking west over the entire Prescott Valley area.

That shot is awesome BTW, nice job.

Would a CP filter have helped that shot, or ruined it because of stitching?

I've been to the Mogollon Rim - I stayed in Payson several years ago. I got a tip from a local where the good sunsets were in Sedona. I took the Cottonwood Mountain trail...a pretty moderate .75 mile hike to the top with un obstructed views of the Sedona Valley. Thanks for the tip on Jerome - I want to visit that place - and there is a state park there. :bigthumb:

Thanks for all the comments guys. :hay: I hopefully will have some other cool examples this week.... :run:
