Underexposed and soft. Visual distractions in both the bottom right and the top right. It also feels pelfed.

Usually it refers to the horizon being off. But in this situation it just means the picture feels off balance, the stand is tilted one way, the cane another. It's disorienting.

How less? At about a thousand you can get a Canon XT or XTi and a good lens. The kit lens is trash. I would suggest the Tamron 17-50.

stop worrying about a 'good' camera and focus on learning some photography basics and fundamentals. all the money in the world cannot buy you a camera that will improve your images. thinking that way will lead only to disappointment. :hs:
you can shoot with whatever you have in the meantime working on applying new skills, then move into some better gear when you know how to pull the most out of it. some people invest huge amounts of money to be so disappointed in their output they never progress and don't enjoy their investment.

I understand, im not tryin to buy a D200 or anything really expensive, the only camera i have right now is a cheap lil point and shoot digital camera, im just tryin to get an opinion on which would be the best camera to get for someone in my position.:)

btw, when he says pelfed, he's referring to a member on this forum known for his crooked horizons. No one will know what you mean if you say it IRL. :mamoru:
