i like how they threw in the old school look of the Zs, but I still don't like that it looks like a 350z too much, mostly because I don't like the 350zs look.
I hate the exterior less than I used to, to be entirely honest. It looks like they atleast figured out how to make it look retro without cribbing directly.
Interior is wtf though. I mean, sure, the S30 z cars have a threesome of dials on the console, but they aren't above the console like on that.
Beyond that, I need to see one in person before I start hating or loving it.
i kinda like it....
Do you realize that in the first sentence you said it was good they designed the car in a similar style without ripping off details from the original, and then in the second sentence you criticized them for not ripping off a detail from the original?
I'm commenting on part of the car that they FAILED to draw from the original in a way that looked good.
Whoever in nissan came up with the little swerves in headlights needs to be fired (i.e. new maxima)
i do like it, they say the performance benchmark was the porsche boxter/cayman so we will see what it can do. i bet they catch a ton of flak for using the nav stuff out of the infiniti'
Why? They're bringing something from a "premium brand" into a "lower brand"; I see nothing wrong with that. If it were the opposite case then I could see a problem.
The point is to provide a part of the headlight that points to the side, so the side-reflector regulation can be satisfied without sticking a separate reflector somewhere else on the side of the car. Since Nissan has the whole tall/thin headlight thing going on right now, that's pretty much the only way to accomplish it.
I agree they're not very appealing where they are.
sup dog, we heard you like teh 350z, so we changed the lights, put a bigger engine in and called it a 370z
I kinda like it.
Took a belt sander to the rear and front lines as well, just so most people wouldnt accuse us of doing that.
uhmm, now it looks like a Z taking a shit. Jeremy is going to have a field day with this one.
Oh, and obligatory Crossfire resemblance.
nissans never really photograPh well. they, for the most part, look better IRL
I love the , yet the 370 by far has best in class interior
Id rock it, but my next car will need awd. I doubt the'll be a option on the Z
i need to drive that...
what a super car that is.
