Tried some landscape shots with my new camera, keep in mind I'm extremely amateur.
delete the last one
Haha, I took that from a car, I just figured what the hell
#1 is nice. The rest dont really wow me.
1 and 3, try putting the tree in the left or right side of the frame and not center it?
while the rule of thirds rule shoudlnt be followed to an exact science, i think it coulda helped in this situation.
1-3 are blah
4 is terrible
and they are all in desperate need of a quick contrast / level adjustment..
Look what a difference 5 seconds in PS made:
number 1 is the only one i like. and it needs some adjustments in photoshop.
So I should definitely get Photoshop. haha
that's a great attitude.
this just goes to show a little post processing and everybodys a pro
Looks like I really need to get on learning PP. My favorite pic from threadstarted was #2
i wouldnt consider these landscape shots, i would consider these shooting a picture of some land from a car. Sorry but all 4 do nothing for me. I see you have a tree in a field, is that your subject? If so why? Everything just looks eh.. Sorry man, keep trying, i would suggest try shooting something interesting. Like if you are outside and see something beautiful try to capture it. But even if i was where you were and saw it in real life, i wouldnt think it was beautiful.
Yeah not much going for any of them...Try some post processing in PS - Good luck!
Good attempts, however the scenes are somewhat lackluster... I'm puzzled by landscape, I don't believe much of it is really captured in nature, but more so in post processing.
except wtf purple sky
The fourth was the only one from a car. the first three are from a field near my house...
I didn't process any of those shots. They're all straight from my camera? Or do you mean landscape shots SHOULD be made more in post processing...
i think he means he's not a fan of landscape because its not really about the scene but the post processing.
Oh. I just picked what I thought was a cool scene at a cool time of night.
i like the second one, only thing i would change is shift the frame to get the whole tree on the left.
at any rate if you like them then its all good
I like trees in fields. And on hills. Just not these ones.
