Waterfalls just outside of Seattle (snoqualmie falls)
all I have done is HDR and Tone Map in Photomatix.
haven't done anything besides that, since photoshop is at home and I am at work.

it doesn't have the same HDR feel that others do. this one just looks like it lacks contrast

Cool shot and a very nice fall.

Is it just me or does the top look a little odd though?

I dont think the HDR does anything for that, did you take a good single photo?

It seems to be too flat and boring.

It looks better, but i expect the waterfall to get darker gradually to show distance.

There are also some distracting chromatic quirks at the top which could be from mirror slap or the water moving.

i still dont get what the HDR in this was...im not familiar at all, but i thought it was used at night, to show detail in the buildings and getproper lighting in the back?
can i see the images combined for this shot?

    easy as pie.

couple shots with different shutter speeds (couple for a good sky exposure, couple for good subject exposure) + photomatix = ftw

    real easy program
