The sun is too high to be magic hour. Did you take any after that?

Horizon is off, a little rotate rotate would be nice.

Nice composition. Also blur out that tank looking object in the center, very distracting

I took a few other shots after this, but not this scene. The sun was just about to start fading away behind those mountains / hills in the background so I got it at the best opportunity.

horizon is intentional... it's a hill

even if it is a hill the viewer doesn't remember it like you do because we have never been there....so in saying that it is just as distracting/annoying to look at it like this regardless of whether it is a hill or not. I would rotate to make the long flat mountain in the background perfectly horizontal. I just tried it in photoshop and it makes the field not quiet level but makes the whole thing look better....

it would look retarded if he adjusted the horizon.
He would have to crop out or adjust the tree.

I think it looks good the way it is.

I like the crooked horizon. I can tell it's a hill. However it doesn't look like the sun is about to set. Still looks like it's pretty high in the sky.

yeah, the tree is supposed to be the focal point. I was driving along looking for "lonely trees" and this one was just sitting there waiting for me.

    Thanks for the comments, everyone.

You want a sunset? Here's your sunset. If you miss that magic minute you can always fake it with photoshop. :mamoru:

It's nice to see an occasional subdued sunset instead of the intense bright orange/red ones everyone conjurs up.

the framing looks fine, you must be a bit spaz if the fact that it was shot on a hill confuses you :)
