    pretty useful review, 40D looks like it has some nice upgrades from the 20/30D

    what's getting old? its the first time i've seen the af-lock button.


    Only important part of that review is the very bottom. It offers nothing new in image quality/noise control over the 20/30d and just gives more features. Save your money.

    The screen is freakin huge!

    The features I like about is that it has the ISO on the top screen at all times, and the larger viewfinder

    canons new screens and AF system is awesome

    nobody can tell if their pictures are in focus

    1dIII = paperweight + awesomely fast card formatter. That is it.

    I'm just posting the news here, I ain't making it. I agree that the 40D isn't much of an upgrade in terms of IQ. A couple of neat features, but....well...bleh. :hs:

    BH doesn't have them. Neither does Calumet, Adorama or Unique. :dunno:
