my previous statement stands, but chris is right too. Use them for prehab shit. pressdowns, x-band walks, stretching, etc.

i saw some powerlifter at my gym using them and asked about them. He asked me if i wanted to try it out. He said they were medium bands and i was using 225. pumped it out a quick 12 times. It felt kind of nice after and u could feel a pump. I want to try board presses now.

    what are your lifts?

i dont necessarily subscribe to the idea that bands shouldn't be used until 600 pound presses or whathaveyou...

but chris or whoever posted about the stretching, prehab, accessory movements with them is right... although idk if you'll be able to do much with just the mini's and monster mini's

Bands are more useful if you're a shirted bencher really.

Or if your lockout is weak, and you're strong off the chest. But does that problem even occur to non-shirted benchers?

Actually I have that problem now which is fucking weird. When I raw benched 405 I blew it off the chest easy but locking out was a bitch and I'm not really sure why.

For most people they're weak off the chest and stronger at lockout.

Absolutely. Prehab, rehab. Whatever. My knees never feel better than when I rock TKE's.

I use the green band for them... idk what others use, but that 'feels right'
