So spur of the moment i decided to take a picture of this old church near my house on the way home from the grocery store. It's in a park that is technically closed form sunset to sunrise, but I figured "hey, i'll be here 10 minutes tops"

Well apparently they patrol it a lot  I got one shot off before i noticed the cop's lights behind my car.

Long story short, he let me off with a warning.

    Here's the 1 frame i got off.

Hehe if your parks are anything like the parks in Central Ohio then yeah they get patrolled and I'd never consider any shots after hours.

^ yeah, I had imagined a better shot and maybe if i had more time to walk around the church and look for a shot something better would have come out, but it's just meh i think.

On the other hand, if you'd just let folks know in advance that you would be scouting some locations for a night shoot the cops might have been more helpful... and for sure less suspicious.

Well obviously if i had planned it out i would have contacted someone, but this was completely spontaneous.

No, it's just a marker with the historical information about the church on it.

You should've taken a picture of the cop so we have some Photoshop material.

I was taking pictures of the ship I was deploying on before I got on board last year. I had the 70-200 on so of course security notices me and comes over to tell me that it's unauthorized. One of my chiefs (think boss) comes up and tells the guy that I'm with squadron public affairs (I'm not) and the cop said cool, have fun out there and walked off
