i am 23 years old...i am pretty sure i could have powered thru most of the stuff they did but i think of it as if they were bigger... if a bigger guy were to have me in an armbar i would be tapping like a bitch.....

i did better against a biger older white belt... but still got man handled...

btw i am 23 but only 5'6" short stubby asian

not really too worried about pushed around ...... but hoping to roll with older people..... pointless to power thru everything.... could have stood up slammed him rampage style but what is the point... he knew what he was doing and i had no clue.....

also ..... can anyone tell me a place to get some relatively cheap grappling shorts..... not vale tudo but more like board shorts.... my b-ball shorts keep keep bunching up when i am in guard or pretty much any time i am on my back...

oh yea i got my gi ... it is blue .... lots of nice features ....i might take pics and post a review...

They say that the white belt is where you pay your respects. Get ready to get tapped out for about 3-6 months. It's tough, we all went through it but the progress is there even if you think you're not getting better!

    Good luck!
