    Looks nice!

I didnt get a chance to shoot any fireworks.
I was looking forward to trying
    :wtc:

Whats the exposure and aperture on them?

ps.. looks like he needs to rotate about 2-3 deg clockwise

EXIF shows an aperture of f2.8 and a shutter speed of 1/5. I like em, but I wonder how much better they'd be with the steeple in focus? I've been meaning to get out and shoot some fireworks but it just hasn't happened yet this year.

the steeple in focus would bring more to the pic IMHO

youre more likely to notice a building slightly out of focus but not really a point of light...

the building in focus would make it look nice and sharp overall but I like the fireworks in focus better. I like seing the detail of it. It is the point of the picture after all. Not the structure. Dont like the building being tilted a few degrees tho. I would straiten it.

What camera? Wish I had some decent glass to shoot with. The pics with the L series glass look so clear.

I took a few with my 300D and ended up using the kit lens. :ugh: I used my tripod and had similar settings as above, but I just need some better equipment.
