FF version 2.0.0.6...on my laptop when I closed FF with multiple tabs/pages then open it later on, FF asks me if I want to restore my old session or start a new one.

On my new desktop, it doesn't ask if I want to restore at all? If I put the option to show tabs from last time, it'll load up fine but won't ask me if I want to restore it or not. How do I make it ask before loading?

    Halp!

Do you have an extension for that on the laptop? I think it's called Session Manager

    edit: yeah https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2324

Here's something like that though, it usually pops out when Firefox crashes and it asks you if you want to restore your old tabs. You can do this by just opening the Task Manager and ending the Firefox process. When you start up FF again, it asks if you want to restore the last session

Do people with brain damage not have the ability to have BOTH browsers installed at the same time?

Thanks, but it's not that. I installed the same extensions I have on here from my laptop. I think I know why it's not working. My laptop had an older version of Firefox and was updated to the latest one while my desktop had a clean install of Firefox.

You go to Tools > Options (or where ever it is on your platform) and where it asks what to do when Firefox starts select 'Show my windows and tabs from last time'.

It actually only asks whenever Firefox CRASHED in it's previous session.

I suppose if you're a web developer that could be a good reason to have more than one browser.
