Firefox and spam

    The other day I went to one of those streaming moving sites like joox and ended up with a spam program called windows antivirus xp installing on my computer and my desktop background changing telling me I have spam.

    I didnt even click anything and this thing installed.
    I managed to get rid of it but now Im scared that firefox isnt that secure.

    First time I have ever gotten spam in firefox. What should I do up the security settings or what?

    ooh! I hate that. I've gotten that too. Had to use task manager to kill Firefox. That was antivirus 2009.
    I've also helped people that got antivirus 2008 and antivirus xp 2008.

    In case you fell for it and installed this scam of a program, this is something that I hear does a pretty good job of getting rid of it:
