    Took these pics a good while back. Had to run home to get my cam, and by the time I got back, the fire was pretty much out :hs:

    [email protected] for respecting the caution tape. 2 would be pretty great without the caution tape and more of the truck. 3 is probably the best of the bunch and 5 would have been great if it weren't for the traffic light.

    lol it seemed like a good idea at the time to have the caution tape in the shot :o

    2 would have been a great shot without the distraction of the tape :o

    Maybe you could still do an aggressive crop on it and get the firefighters on the left side of the image?

    this = fire photography. ya know they are looking at something and you can see it, but you're not certain as to what it is..

    What you need is a picture of a bunch of guys standing in one doorway with a single hoseline going in. Then, in another one, you need a bunch of units staging on the street while the first in unit goes up into a complex to investigate food on the stove. Then you need another one of like three companies worth of guys sitting in rehab while two engines worth of guys do overhaul.

    THAT would be realistic fire photography.
