GUN Finished the paint of my Marlin.

    Decided to paint the receiver black too as the silver bit between the scope and stock looked weird.

    Pretty much... After I got the new scope, I decided I wanted the gun to be black too.

    I was expecting to see a beat up Marlin before pic.

    i really like that tube magazine. either grabbing a 60 or that henry lever action from walmart for $230.

    They're usually like $150.. This one was more because it came with a scope.

    ill probably just buy some new parts for my 10/22 and get the receiver refinished.

    There were a BUNCH of used Marlin 60s for ~$60 at the last gun show. I'd check there or pawn shops if you want one on the cheap.

    Damn, you paid $190 for a M60? Ouch. I think I might have paid like $75ish for my last one from a pawn shop.

    I actually think it looks good now, though before it was one of the better looking Marlin's I've seen. I'm guilty of doing all kinds of dumb shit to '60's, as mine was one of the first guns I started tinkering with. I had fire control parts in queue from where I kept fucking stuff up trying to do trigger jobs. :lol:

    Have to be careful of what gen they are... Not sure on specifics but earlier 60's had feed problems.
